Description: The Early Education and Child Care Center offers a responsive, developmentally based program in a spacious environment designed especially for young children. The center is staffed by highly qualified, experienced teachers dedicated to creating and fostering learning opportunities for children and University students. Itinerant special education services are incorporated on an as need basis. Children are enrolled in one of three age groups; infants (2 to 18 months), toddlers (18 months to 3 years), and multi-age preschool (3 to 5 years). We offer a full-day program during the academic year and two summer sessions. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during the academic year and from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the summer. A fee applies to the program and is subject to change annually. The program is affiliated with the University's Department of Child and Family Studies in the College of Human Ecology.
