I have used this provider for more than 6 months
Rennert HeadStart is the absolute worst headstart I've ever had to deal with. Sadly St. Pauls headstart closed down(which was 5 stars) so my daughter has to attend this place. When I enrolled my daughter it was for 5 days weekly, as most schools are. Once her paperwork was processed it changed to 4 days a week. She hasn't learned anything that I can tell since starting 5 months ago. This was one of the worst mistakes I've made regarding schooling when it comes to any of my kids. We all are dealing with COVID but it's obvious (by comparing to other schools) that Rennert HS is using that as an excuse to close the doors on our kids at least an extra day a week and now the last 2 weeks of January. They offer no meals or virtual learning, which makes it even worse. Not to mention once kids return to school Jan 31st, COVID will still be all around us. Parents enroll your kids anywhere else besides here, don't make my mistake. Ready for this school year to be over, so I never have to experience such a waste of government funds(our tax dollars) ever again!! I had to give 1 star to write review. I rate them a negative 1 star!!
I had a teacher tell me that someone needed to accompany my child on a school trip because he was acting out the day before. I adopted this child from a drug user. My child was born with drugs in his system and he is suffering from the effects of it. These teachers know this so to me that should be better prepared to handle a child like this. In my city drug use while pregnant is a norm and these teachers know this. My child is so smart and he needs to be challenged. To me today's teachers are doing the very minimum.
