Center staff will ensure that each classroom is in ratio, including nap time, being able to see and hear the children at all times. Staff will rearrange classroom furniture to see children from all angles of the classroom. Center staffed removed one of the sound machines from the classroom in younger toddlers and staff in older toddlers, have turned down each of the three sound machines. Staff walked around the classroom practicing if they could hear the sounds a child may make etc... coughing, crying or stirring.
