My daycare is a family setting with Christian values. I have a high standard for my own children and carry that over to all children that enter my home. I truly enjoy kids and having been one myself still enjoy playing yet believe in running a controlled, structured and safe environment. I plan a healthy environment for the growth of body, soul & spirit by planning regular physical activities as well educational and encourage prayer at meals (prayer not required). Well balanced healthy meals are served in accordance to the CACFP Child & Adult Care Food Program (I’m not a fan of sugar, Trans Fats, Growth Hormones or other man made substitues). My focus is to teach children life skills such as respecting authority and others, sharing, polite manners, following instructions, responsibility, anger control and problem management. I feel these skills are mandatory before children enter a school setting and do parallel with Christian character.
lt is very important for parents and myself to work as a team to best meet the needs of the children.
