Provider Response: (Contact the State Licensing Office for more information.) To address the cited supervision violation, the following corrective actions will be implemented to ensure continuous supervision of all children at all times and full compliance with DHS regulations. Beginning January 2026, the app "Breakroom" will be removed, which is currently used for internal staff communication. This change will ensure that staff remain focused on active supervision as personal device use will no longer be permitted. Staff will use only center-issued iPads for parent communication purposes. All personal devices will continue to be prohibited during working hours. All doors in the downstairs area will remain closed in the morning and throughout the day. This measure will support smoother transitions between classrooms and further help maintain compliance with required supervision practices. Teachers will complete name-to-face reports at every transition leaving the building using ProCare. |
