My daughter started here last year and it was a difficult transition for her. She now loves going to school with all her friends and seeing the teachers who have become a second family. The staff are incredibly kind, patient and communicative with us throughout.
Each day they give us a run down of her day, send pics occasionally, and have even started to potty train her.
They are amazing and I am so glad we found them.
I have a school age child and an infant at Discovery. My favorite part of this daycare is the staff. My experience has been that they will truly go out of their way to help their daycare families and make themselves available to address/discuss concerns as needed to alleviate the anxiety of worry wart parents like me!
Chase has been thru 4 daycares...and we are very comfortable with this one...he has been there 1 + years..he has learned to speak very well...he is almost potty trained...he can count to twenty...he knows his colors..he is very intelligent for his age of 3...i would recommend this daycare to anyone who wants great care for your child..i think Mrs. Chastity is a great owner...and I think all the teachers are great....it is more like a family setting...it is an outstanding place to go.....cudos to all the employees there...thank you and much love from Dirk and Tina and chase...
I love discovery and everyone there. I couldn't ask for better child care for my 3 year old son. They are wonderful!!!

| Findings: Upon arrival LS was informed that 15 children were present however when LS reviewed the attendance book only 12 children were signed in. The Director showed LS the clipboard the program uses for attendance and it reflected 15 children. LS discussed with Director that the program is responsible for ensuring that all children are signed in and out daily and the Director and staff are responsible for ensuring parents complete this task and if parents do not sign their child in/out then the staff need to and then have a follow up conversation with the parents. While LS was present Director reviewed the attendance book and ensured all children were signed in. | |||

| Findings: Upon arrival Licensing Specialist observed seven children present in Room 1 and only six were signed in on the daily sign in and out log. The daily attendance log had seven children signed in. Licensing Specialist discussed with staff that if parents do not sign their child/children in or out it is the staffs responsibility to do so and have a conversation with parents reminding them to sign their child in and out daily. Licensing Specialist also discussed with staff that these two forms of attendance need to match at all times. Facility needs to send a letter of correction to Licensing Specialist outlining that staff are aware of this requirement, that this has been communicated to families and what policies the facility will implement to ensure this is corrected moving forward. | |||
