Our two boys have been very happy at Chispita Daycare the last year! The younger started when he was only 4mos of age; the older when he was 2yrs. The program doesn’t identify as Waldorf Education Method but follows many of its norms (structured time with focus on cooperation not competition; there is circle time, free play, outdoor time every day). I only wish that their hours were broader (limited to 8am-530).
Unlike the other review, I believe the helpers are appropriately firm with the children; that is all! Our boys look forward to going in each morning and seem happy and engaged when we pick them up.
Please be cautious about this day care I live around this apartment , I could here yelling and screaming at the poor kids most of the time ... I even saw these people being very careless always engaged in their phones when kids are playing , many times I saw kids touching the dustbins near play area, climbing the walls .. no one really stops them .. please be careful , find out as much as you can before leaving your child with these people.
